I have a fairly expensive caravan and wanted to protect it from camping problems. I've seen all kinds of wiring problems over the years, from hot grounds to reverse polarity. All of this can seriously damage your investment. The first thing I did with this device was hook it up to a test panel where I could change the wiring. The device has detected tangled wires, missing grounding and any other wiring problems. What I couldn't and didn't want to do is create a splatter as it will damage the device but protect the hardware. So as far as I could tell, the device works as advertised and does what it's supposed to. Next, I tried connecting the ends. Believe it or not, this is one of the hardest things to do with some of them. Most are almost impossible to turn off! The handles on this device make it easy to connect and disconnect. The next problem is flexibility. Some of the devices I've looked at don't flex at all, but this one will. I agree it won't flex much, but that's not necessary. It just takes some flexibility to get out of electrical junction boxes that are too low to the ground! I am satisfied with this device and can recommend it.
