I don't like the light

The fan seems to work very smoothly, but I don't like the light at all. When the power went out, the lights came on and flickered like hell in the middle of the night. It has three different light color settings, but the way the color is dialed is silly: you turn it off and then back on and it changes color. So if you have a color you like, you have to toggle it on and off three times to get back to that setting.
