I'm deeply impressed by this tiny speaker. I would describe myself as a casual audiophile. I prefer analog sources whenever possible. I love my Dragonfly D/A converter but don't be too mad about it, I can still enjoy Bluetooth music from my phone to this little thing that literally fits in a shirt pocket. Whatever it is, it's amazing how audible this thing is at "reasonable volume". It sounds a lot better than my bigger, heavier and more expensive stereo bluetooth speaker from a few years ago. It gets a lot louder, but it has a brittle, digital, paper-cone-like sound. Although mono, this one is relatively softer, warmer and much easier to hear. Philips has done a great job here.
