Review on πŸ—‘οΈ ecoPouch Kitchen Trash Bag - Drawstring, Gallon Capacity by Justin Butler

Love the mission but not the durability

Love the fact that these bags are made from recycled materials. When I bought them I realized that they probably wouldn't be as durable as other non-recycled bags I've used. I didn't find these bags durable. The drawstring rips the top of the bag about 50 percent of the time, and I often rip the bag open when trying to fit it over my standard 13-gallon kitchen trash cans. In fact, I started packing my trash in two bags, expecting one to break. I've had success with not overfilling them, but then I found I was still using more garbage bags each week, which seems to defeat the purpose of using eco-friendly bags. I've also tried using these recycle bags which are lighter but the corners of the boxes cause the bag to tear. I sincerely hope manufacturers will continue to work on a more durable bag as there is such a need for this type of product and I applaud them for their work.
