assembly confusing. Directions have no words, only arrows. Much additional hardware is not even used. It took an hour to assemble just by trial and error. When I was done I flipped it over and sure enough, a few scratches on the countertop. I have young children and don't expect it to be perfect, but it's modern and very affordable for our little breakfast nook! We have 4 black matching chairs to complete the set.
