This item looks good, is a solid weight and I was delighted when I opened the box. BUT it was recommended in conjunction with the phone system purchased at the same time - it was shown as an 'additional phone' to expand on the system I bought. NO, THAT IS NOT SO . I'm sure it will work fine with another phone system, but NOT with the AT&T CL82321. While the return process for this item was easy and completely hassle free, getting additional phones that actually work with the phone system I bought was a nightmare. After 30+ minutes of "chatting" with 4 different carriers, I gave up and ordered CL-80131 phones directly from phone.att.com.
