Very high quality kit, reminds me of the much more expensive EZPZ brand. The color is more of a tan than yellow, but we still prefer pastels to the typical bright ones. As for the bowl, it's bigger than it looks in the photos and it actually closes to the table/chair! If you're in the weaning business (or have a toddler) you know how important this is, I've had to clean up more than my fair share of discarded bowls and plates full of food. The material is easy to clean, it can be put in the microwave and dishwasher, win, win. My twins also love the little leash that comes with it, it's a nice little distraction while I'm trying to fill their bowls with food. Overall this is a quality and adorable set that would make a great baby shower or birthday gift for the little ones in your life.
