These are excellent high performance GMRS HT radios at a reasonable price (my G11S radios transmit at 4.2w). There are many pluses and only one minus - there are no extra batteries available yet. Radioddity does not currently sell additional batteries for the G11S radio. However, Radioddity support said they will be monitoring demand for G11S batteries to decide if they should be made available in the future. I highly recommend having an extra battery pack for EVERY HT radio. So if you own these G11S radios, please email Radioddity support email address (support@radioddity.com) and ask to purchase additional G11S batteries. Better yet, send them a message that you will only buy these G11S radios if you can get an extra battery for them. ;-) The more of us requesting them, the more likely Radioddity will have G11S batteries for sale. I doubt you will find a high performance FCC Part 95e compliant GMRS HT radio that offers the performance of the Baofeng G11S GMRS radio for the same price. Based on my extensive search for high performance GMRS HT radios, the Baofeng G11S offers the most and the best features at a very affordable price.
