It seems that every time I'm in a store with bags or see them on the internet, I buy a different one. NOT because I love big bags anyway, but because I can't find one that meets all my needs and is good for all purposes. Let me point out why the others fail, which will show why this one is so good: some are either too small and won't fit in a towel and other items, or they are too big and so big that they aren't comfortable carry around. Some have a very thin or canvas lining which is not realistic if something spills inside etc. or if it gets wet outside the moisture will seep in. There is often a panel on the bottom to give it structure and shape, but this is NOT realistic for packing in a suitcase because it adds volume. Often there is NO zipper, which means that when things are packed into a car or stacked, they fall out. Water resistant bags are usually plastic materials for the whole bag and I prefer canvas for fashion purposes. Finally, comfort is often an issue when the straps are too thin to support the weight of the bag, digging into the shoulder, or just plain uncomfortable. in terms of fashion and design you can see how it looks and i like the design. it's fun, bright and still stylish without the gaudy childish design as I'm an adult using this bag. It has NONE of the issues mentioned with other bags. good zip to hold everything together, comfy handles but cute rope design and not too flimsy, the extra lining is actually water repellent so anything spilled inside is easy to clean without ruining the bag and if water from the outside penetrates, it does not penetrate into the objects, the shape is structured enough when carried, but has no hard parts, so it can be folded and put in a suitcase when traveling. The size is enough to carry all the necessary items for the beach or other event, so a large bag would be handy, but still not too big. Until I realized I was buying one big bag after another, I didn't think it would be THAT hard to find one that had all the features I needed. but it was really hard to find. All these great features are not only pleasing to the eye but can be used for any occasion and are fashionable. I can finally stop buying bags
