Used this item for makeup at an event. I've seen many reviews complaining about the color not applying easily, but I think these reviews are from inexperience with this type of color. Just like the more expensive Snazaroo paints, they need to be wetted with water before they can be used effectively, just like watercolors. I was struck by the color's ability to both mask and detail. Other face paints I've used in the past tend to be very uneven and tend to "soak up" rather than bleed into the skin. These paints worked at least as well as the more expensive brand I mentioned earlier. The only downside I have with these colors is that they are definitely not durable. Water and sweat wash away this color in no time. While that's mostly a good thing, parents and kids don't have to put up with exfoliation and makeup remover then. All in all it was a great purchase and I would order again at any time.
