I am using this cable to connect the DisplayPort input on a Dell P2715Q 4K display directly to the Thunderbolt 3 port of my new 2020 iMac At first I'm skeptical that such a long cable would work well, but the video is stable at all resolutions and I've got 60Hz operation at 4k resolution using Dell's on-screen display tools confirmed. Note that the DP end of this cable doesn't have secure retaining clips (which I specifically didn't want). Also note that this cable can be a little less flexible than some others due to its sturdy construction and nylon braiding (although I've had no trouble using it in a VESA compatible adjustable mount (https://www.amazon.com/ gp/product/B07L8MLTGS)). So if you want to take very tight turns or sharp right angles, you might want to look for a more flexible alternative.
