Review on The KeySmart KeyCatch: Innovative Magnetic Key Rack with Easy Installation - Ultimate Key Holder for Lightswitch Panel (6-Pack) by Jami Harrison

Great for keys but holds much less than 3 pounds

TL/DR; This is a REAL review of a product I purchased at full price from Revain ($19.99). An ingeniously simple solution to lost keys, these magnets will securely hold a full set of keys. However, they hold much less than the advertised 3lbs. no longer have to rummage through school documents, purses or other stuff. They tick all the boxes of T. They are a good compact size and the white color goes well with my white switch covers. A flat head screwdriver to remove my existing screws and a few twists of the wrist and these little ones were easy to install and get up and running. For the sake of a smile, I verified their actual capacity by hanging a stack of 10 gram poker chips on a keychain. With the included small key ring (the item came with three packs, each with two magnets and two key rings), one magnet could hold up to 7 oz / 200 g. I also tested it with a large key ring and the magnet withstood a load of 10.5 / 300g. That's less than a quarter of what the description says 3 pounds. Perhaps you could hit 3 pounds with a hard piece of heavy duty iron in contact with the entire magnet, but for the intended and advertised purpose of being hung from a key ring, that's not the case. These magnets cost a little over $3 each. Not an absolute bargain, but they're good value. They work for me and I have already recommended them to others.
