So I was excited to make this with my daughters for a summer day project at home. First, the scents are ok, although you smell like bathroom cleaner and you use the whole bottle per candle, which leads me to believe it's not an essential oil as you only need a little. Unless it was user error I couldn't get the pitcher until it was floating in the pot and had to hold it for what felt like an eternity and almost melted my hand. It took forever to get to the desired moderate level and I had to turn on the heat when it read medium/low. After all that was said and done, there was no smell when the candle burned down and I was very disappointed as were my children. Wouldn't recommend it. Buy wax, wicks, essential oils and double burner separately and read instructions online. I wish I could have $40 and save
