A big design flaw

Nice shape, easy to use. One of the main problems is that, especially with triangular shapes, there is no other way to extract the candle than by banging it against a flat surface. We use them for candles, which is a risky game. This leads to cracks, breaks and other problems.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Ratio set

DO NOT buy, candles are not removable!

Looks really great but is utterly useless if you CANNOT get the wax candles out of shape no matter what you do. I ended up having to break a mold to get the wax out of one and then tap all the wax out of the other just to get the wax out. An absolute disaster.

Poor design on wicks

I used these to make candles. The sphere and cylinder were easy to use as they split into two parts. However, it turned out to be really impossible to use a tall cone and a cube. The candles wouldn't go out. I would have given it one star if it wasn't for the fact that 2 forms worked well. Forms should consist of two separate parts.

Ritual candles made easy

I was nervous at first because the candle didn't look like I wanted, but after taking a deep breath I was able to fix the problems and the candle looked better than I had hoped ! The only problem is unpacking, although I greased the mold with oil, the candle didn't want to come out! I even put it in the freezer which seemed to help a bit. Very easy to use, easy to clean.

Good but too expensive

Not the best quality I've seen and better used. This item was also more expensive than other molds I have used in the past for many years. You can remove the candles by letting the wax settle completely, but removing the seal from the bottom is quite difficult. I wish there was a needle in the kit to make it easier to thread the wick through the hole. Especially after the first candle, the hole grows over completely and it becomes more difficult to thread the wick through it. It would be great…

Some work, some don't

The ball and small cylinder can be taken apart for easy access to the spark plug (as shown in Figure 2 and 3). The large cylinder and the square, on the other hand, form a unit. This makes it difficult (almost impossible) for the candle to fall out. I tried running the cylinder in hot water to loosen the spark plug. It took forever because the candle still wouldn't come out. When it finally did it melted and went bad (first pic) and as a warning to cover the entire bottom (where the wick goes)…

My mom is Chandler and she loves her!

Gabe my mother. (Set #3) . She starts a business with hand-filled candles. She suggested that instead of using a lint-free material to grease the mold, use a triangle makeup sponge and vegetable oil and dab the bottom and sides with oil. DON'T FORGET to remove the mold paste before releasing the wax like Mom did on the first try. She broke the candle and had to get a heat gun to give it an old fashioned look like it had been hand dipped. She wants an 11 piece set, although she will have a…

Grease the molds with oil before pouring the wax!

This is my first time making candles, should have seen the demo video. She must have used some kind of oil (in her brown jar) in the molds before pouring the wax. She measured the temperature of the wax but didn't show what temperature suits her or why? Also, I didn't realize the bottom was up, so next time I'll use the wicks correctly. A guide would be helpful. I'll try another oil kit when I grow out some of the hair I pulled out because of this one lol.

I was nervous better than I thought

This is the first time I've used a plastic mold, I've only made candles four times. I was nervous about the uninstall process, but I followed the instructions that were sent and everything went VERY SMOOTH. I used soy wax. I made a light coating of the cylinder with olive oil. I haven't had any leakage issues, I didn't use the sealant that came with it, I used a homemade plug. When it came time to take it out of the mold it was tricky but I followed the directions and first put it in the…
