The ball and small cylinder can be taken apart for easy access to the spark plug (as shown in Figure 2 and 3). The large cylinder and the square, on the other hand, form a unit. This makes it difficult (almost impossible) for the candle to fall out. I tried running the cylinder in hot water to loosen the spark plug. It took forever because the candle still wouldn't come out. When it finally did it melted and went bad (first pic) and as a warning to cover the entire bottom (where the wick goes) use some plasticine.
