Great product but a bit small

The strip was quite small but I only needed about 1/3 of it to waterproof my Fjällräven backpack so I'm glad I bought these bought size. Out of curiosity, I decided to have my suede shoes waterproofed as well, and dammit, it worked out great.

Pros
  • Fits me perfectly
Cons
  • Can I add something

More than enough wax for Fjall Raven pants.

It took 2/3 of a small piece of wax to cover the entire G-1000 material of my Fjall Raven pants. Use a heat gun on low heat 2-3 inches above the surface (wipe the surface to make sure the material isn't too hot).

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

A small piece of wax. Surprise?

I bought this wax bar to use on a Fjällräven G-1000 jacket. Yes, it's small, but no smaller than the product description states. You also don't need a lot of wax for an easy application to fabric, so this little strip should last for quite a while. The wax needs to be heated (a hair dryer will do) to melt the fabric.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No effect

Wrong statement - 20g bar (instead of 25g) not 2 "x2 "

I was expecting it to be a smaller travel wax bar so went by size to order decide if he is right. the size. It's definitely not 2" x 2" (1" x 0.8" x 1.2") but 20g instead of 25g. With shipping and taxes included, this tiny piece of wax costs about $15 .If this is enough to cover my entire coat not yet known but be aware that this list is a lie.

Cons
  • So far so good

Rip off wtf on power

This is bs. The picture and description does not state 20g on the box and does not indicate that it is a wax bar for dolls or wood fairies. The prices are way better than a regular bar. I've bought this many times. Ridiculous. You can make 1 hat if you have a canvas hat. 2 does not help. Nobody should have 1 canvas hat, let alone TWO. Two little thumbs down. Back if possible. I believe this is a free sample, probably sold illegally.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Secret

Great product - SAMPLE

Greenland Wax is great and works great with Fjällräven G-1000 fabric. I've been using it for many years. But this particular bar, which weighs just 20g, is about the size of a free sample. And it's not covered by Revain Prime. So if you pay for shipping and taxes, it's going to be a ridiculously overpriced purchase. Opt for a full-size bar instead. The product is great and works very well. This particular list is too small to comfortably hold to even use.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Working speed

Great for waterproof

I bought this for my Fjällräven bag and it works great! Didn't know there would be many minibars (should have read better) - more wax than I can probably use in a lifetime but it worked great because I have a friend with the same bag that I gave some to. I just rubbed it on the canvas and heated it with a hair dryer. Lightweight and works great - I found it more convenient to take the bag to Europe because it was waterproof and didn't absorb anything when I put it on the ground. We'll be using…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Expensive!

When I bought the "small" bar I didn't realize it was about 1" x 1 1/2", definitely too small. I applied it to a pair of slacks and melted it down, now the streak is almost gone. Quick start in the sink seems to work fine, was better. I'll update my rating with even fewer stars if it doesn't work. So why only 3 stars? Because beeswax and paraffin are very cheap, and I can easily make a few dozen of these things for less than they charge for one. If it goes well, I'll do it from now on.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Now it looks like it did when it was brand new

I have no experience waxing clothes so I bought a small pole to play with. I have a waxed cotton hat I wanted to keep, so I waxed it and then melted it into the fabric with a hair dryer. Now it looks like it did when it was brand new. I have a few ideas for my next project and haven't used it enough to say how well it works. It was easy to apply and melt so I hope it doesn't dry me out. The little latch was surprisingly small (the largest area isn't much bigger than a postage stamp), but it…

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Available in white only
