It was very easy to use and self-align. It also immediately highlighted an area in my lower back/thigh area that had been sore and limping for years. I have not been able to get to this place using any other method or device. The instructions were very vague making it difficult to understand how to use or place it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the pin holding the ball to the base has detached from one of the larger balls giving me less confidence in its stability over the long term. I would still recommend it overall.
