I still love it despite the main bug

I'll list the bugs and their possible workarounds first because although few, they can be a hindrance for some people. Cons: Most importantly - and I think this is a key con - the water temperature changes more than any other shower head I've used and this is a consequence of its design. Due to the very small size of the holes, which are necessarily small for this head to work the way it does, the water streams have an extremely low volume to surface area ratio and therefore cool quickly - so quickly in fact that I have boiling water in the head (which is about 6 feet tall) and when it reaches my feet it's warm. It has nothing to do with my legs either, because that temperature difference is echoed by the rest of my body just by sitting down. This is especially important if you want to use it in a sitz bath, for example, or if you just want your feet to be as warm as anything else without having to do shower exercises. There are several possible workarounds for this, assuming your water heater can't produce enough hot water to fix the problem on its own (like mine). One is to attach the shower curtain to the wall, which traps the thermal energy of the air inside and reduces the amount of water to be cooled. You can also turn on the heater in the bathroom if you have one and that will help. Another option is to only use it in a stand-up shower with an existing airlock, where the design of the shower itself helps ensure the water doesn't get too cold. I think the best option (and the one I plan to do) is to just get a tee for your shower pipe and install a second shower head. This is pretty easy, and you can also find plenty of extra hoses and a wall-mounted shower holder. Because this head uses incredibly little water, even a small water heater can easily handle both heads, and you also get a luxurious shower without the luxury expense. It has an off button that lets you control when it uses two heads and when it uses one. The downside here, of course, is that you're spending twice as much to make up for the shortcomings of this shower head, and if you've already put some energy into finding that particular listing where it's cheaper than other listings of this nature hit the target . I only want to use a double head shower, so I choose the last option. The amount I save on water usage should be enough for the extra head and gear in about 30 years. (I joke, it may only last a few months, but it will pay off in the end.) The next downside is the cost of the filters. Filters are good but firstly I really don't think they are necessary unless you have really bad water, in which case you probably already have a home filter on your main line. I just can't justify the cost of the filter so I'll be throwing them away once the two that came with this filter are gone. Mine was leaking like a strainer out of the hose fitting (video attached) because the shank of the bolt was shorter than the head the hose was designed to fit (picture attached). This was an easy fix by adding another o-ring, but some tape should do the same job easily. It was a quick fix anyway, but once I fixed it, there was a small leak around the edge of the perforated panel. This was a really easy fix by unscrewing the rim that holds the plate to the front of the head and adjusting the o-ring. I moved the ring to the other side of the plate and he fixed it straight away. Now everything is tight (where it should be). Pros: Everything else. Serious. This might seem like a pretty long list of deal-breaking cons, but I'm just being meticulous. First, the head works just like it does in all the ads that got me looking for it. These advertisers are trying to sell you twice as much, but it's the same mind. (Note: Some of these ads show an all white opaque head with another design that has the same type of water spray and I want to find that next.) I managed to figure out how this thing creates the flanged water vortex that the it does , and that's pretty damn smart. When the trick wears off, it retains its wow factor since almost no water is used. I actually tried what I saw in one of the commercials where I set my existing shower head to a simple jet, then rotated it and put that on with the water on and boom, it was a powerful jet. This leader positions himself as a water conservation department. One thing you might notice is that the water doesn't drain out of the head. Every shower head in existence does that to some degree, but most others are opaque so you don't notice. I see this as another plus because it lets you know there's still water in there. So if you're going on a long journey, you can just unscrew the front of your head and let it drain. You can even leave it on so it dries out and doesn't encourage mold. The last and best plus as far as I know is that this shower head makes showering fun for kids. My daughter immediately wanted to take a shower when she saw the propeller at the back and the cool shape of the water jets. She is 4 years old, so it is important that the water is not too hot for her, and the minus I wrote above about the difference in temperature here becomes a plus, because even the hottest water in my house thanks her can not burn this nozzle. That's a win in my book. Verdict: I love it. It's one of the few things I've seen in the continuous promotion that I not only found interesting but ended up liking. Usually these items don't live up to their claims, but this one does live up to its claims despite having a significant bug, and I think it's worth finding a workaround or fixing its shortcomings rather than giving up everything.
