Is this carpet bad? No way. I stand by it every day. But it doesn't give the relief I expected after reading a large percentage of five star reviews. I wish the protrusions were sharper or at least a little taller. When I stand on it, I feel like I'm standing on a carpet next to the door. I'm not upset that I bought it because it was cheap, but I will buy a more expensive, more intense mat to stand on. I should have made it easy in the beginning.
