Works well with ink

I bought this to finish the inktober when I was filling another notebook so I mostly used ink pens. I use thin Sharpie pens and double-tipped brush pens. When correcting several mistakes with water, the pages did not spread and hardly deformed. I could see the shadow of the drawings on the back of the sheet, but there was no actual bleeding. I'm aiming to try watercolor but haven't done it yet. I'll update the review when I get to this list of projects.

Ideal for small watercolors!

I really like this paper! I mainly use it for watercolors. Its weight prevents bleeding on the back, which is fantastic. It is durable and can withstand multiple coats of paint/paint and water. It doesn't soak up water right away, which is great as I really like that wet, splashy look. While water will cause the paper to crease and curl, I've found that using a steam iron with the paper between the sheets gets rid of most creases, at least the noticeable ones. I will definitely keep buying!

Good quality paper is the best in Art Paper

Let me start by saying that I was fooling around when I bought this mixed media paper. I actually wanted her watercolor paper, and, well. flaws in me. I could have sent it back but decided to keep it for future projects. I tested the sheet of paper with my new watercolor set and was pleasantly surprised that the watercolor held onto it so well. The paper is fairly smooth and not as heavy as 140lb (300gsm) watercolor paper (obviously) but again it's my fault I ordered the wrong paper. In my…

Perfect size ideal for multimedia

Perfect size for people who like to draw or do basic sketching - it fits easily in a backpack or large bag so you can take it with you. I love mixed paper as it allows beginners to explore more than just graphite. This paper holds well charcoal, colored pencils, pastels, markers, etc. You can also use watercolor if you don't fully saturate the page or the paper will warp. If you plan to paint with watercolors, I recommend ripping out the page before painting on it so you don't ruin the pages…

Excellent quality! But it comes off too easily.

Excellent notebook with very thick paper for Copic and Prismacolor markers. It takes quite a while before the ink actually spills onto another sheet of paper. However, my only complaint is that the perforations are too perforated (?). The paper tears very easily as I flip through the pages, if I accidentally smudge the perforations almost half the paper comes off! This is really annoying considering I like to keep most of my work indoors. my sketchbook. But other than that it's really good…

Not bad at all

I like this sketchbook but not for all kinds of materials. It doesn't have as much absorbency as watercolor paper or texture, it doesn't have much texture at all. So if you use a lot of water-based media, this might not be the best choice for you. It's definitely durable, can withstand multiple layers, and won't seep through to the other side. My biggest complaint is how tight it buckles. I have a different brand of sketchbook that doesn't warp or warp if too much water or ink is used. I've…

Luckily the bent wire bothers me

I don't mind sending bent wire because I usually carefully remove a few pages as I use paper and managed to get one in place to bend and had to cut the last wire. Although they shouldn't have sent it damaged, the paper is fine and I don't waste it on some bent wires. I like to use this paper because it's cheap, but not that cheap. I draw freely, take a drawing lesson, pens, watercolors or take it and paint in an urban setting without fear of ruining a more expensive magazine with less paper…

Nice versatile sketchbook.

A very good quality album that will allow you to paint light to medium watercolors without pilling the top layer of the paper or bleeding to the other side. There is a slight warping that can be reduced by compressing the page after the work has dried. Won't be completely eliminated, but you can still work with the back of the page. Works very well with pencil, slightly rough textured paper makes lighter pencil strokes grainy. Good with most watercolor markers although thirsty. It is easy to…
