A very good quality album that will allow you to paint light to medium watercolors without pilling the top layer of the paper or bleeding to the other side. There is a slight warping that can be reduced by compressing the page after the work has dried. Won't be completely eliminated, but you can still work with the back of the page. Works very well with pencil, slightly rough textured paper makes lighter pencil strokes grainy. Good with most watercolor markers although thirsty. It is easy to mix or disperse the pigment with water. Good for alcohol markers, but bleeds through to the other side. Water soluble drawing materials such as Inktense pencils dissolve well on this side when water is applied. Strong spiral binding, low risk of pages falling out, even though the pages are pre-cut for easy removal, hold them tight when you keep the pages in a book. The front and back covers are made of durable cardstock and can be customized with other materials to personalize the book. A good size to work with both a few small sketches and more complete works. Decent Page Count: 60 sheets provide enough space for painting.
