The first problem was the retaining clips on the side holding the bracket against the studs. The metal is very thin and very thin. Clips bent even after applying a thin layer of lubricant. After wrestling with them, I decided to use factory clips. The other major issue was that the factory wiring harness was not connected to the included bulb sockets. The lamp socket cavity housing is the same size as the harness connector, preventing mating. I ended up using the factory outlets and refusing the ones that came with it. The side marker mounts are not fixed, they simply rotate and can fall out. There appears to be a hole in the case that is too big for the socket to rotate fully. The plastic used in assembly is a different density and not as stiff as the OEM plastic. Be very careful as the top latches at the top of the wings can easily break. As a quality engineer, I believe the design of this product needs improvement to meet OEM standards.
