Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

The seller carefully put the instruction in 2022 in the box. Nicely! The price, by the way, is lower than in other marketplaces, even despite paid delivery.

Pros
  • Excellent pocket radio (really pocket radio, unlike the older brothers of the 600 series and above). SSB! Listening to railway communication, truckers, "hooligans" and stations in HF \ MW is ideal. The sensitivity in these ranges is not inferior to the superheterodyne 680 - the "digit" (DSP) here pleased. It has an extended "2022" VHF band (64-108 MHz), while the 680 model is somehow deprived of this, there it is only "Asian" and "European". In a couple of photos, it is next to the "big brother" 680, the difference in size, I think, is visible) Fits perfectly into a jacket pocket, can be charged from any power bank with 5V (and the battery there is a clone of the "Nokiev" BL-5C, which (different quality) on any marketplaces and radio markets completely). Those. It is for pocket, urban use - super. By the way, the Texan's bundled wired headphones are quite good in quality - I compared (at FM reception) with their similar sehnheisers, complete from a Samsung smartphone, etc. Well, not the top class for sure, but in general buzzing. The only thing missing is the air range, like the older ones, but that would already be a dream)) Retekess came out with a similar compact model, but I don’t have it yet.
Cons
  • The encoder is somewhat fuzzy, it reacts strongly to accidental touches, you need to lock the receiver if it is in your pocket, bag or backpack. Sensitivity in VHF is not ideal, but in general this range is not particularly interesting to me. No stand. The Chinese are such Chinese, they could do it. There is no backlighting of the buttons, but this is the trouble of all Texans (or almost all)

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

All in all, a very nice receiver. Convenient for every day, due to its size and high sensitivity to a tiny native telescope. The charge is enough for a week of moderate or three days of active listening. Got pros: Compact, truly pocket-sized. The presence of SSB modulation, which will allow you to listen to many amateur and service stations. The presence of the Soviet VHF band, which is still relevant in many regions. One of the main features of this receiver is the ability to receive LW and SW

Very good price-performance ratio - shortwave radios

I am very satisfied with the device. It works well, is responsive and comes with firmware version 3305 which seems crucial for good performance. Due to a terrible winter storm in Texas we realized we needed a good battery powered radio and this fitted the bill. I am satisfied in every respect.

Pros
  • Fits many people

A bit pricey but works great

I've had a lot of small portable radios. This PL330 is the best of them all. Very good sensitivity (not the best table radio, but very good for its size) and features. Most impressive is the excellent voice quality for such a small body. With previous Tecsun radios I had a tendency for the buttons to drop out and be intermittent after a short while. Hope this one lasts.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Style 90

Fully functional in a small case

The receiver turned out to be very sensitive. Of course, using a suitable outdoor antenna for HF frequencies is a must. Many useful storage and scanning functions. Please note that this radio uses a rechargeable battery. If you're going to be using it "off-grid" for more than a weekend, make sure you have a charge plan or charged spare BL-5C batteries. I do both.

Pros
  • Not only useful for the intended purpose
Cons
  • There are also disadvantages

This radio has sensitivity and selectivity

A very good general purpose communications receiver. I use it as a mobile radio to listen to CW morse code from an ARRL W1AW radio. Very sensitive and selective to other AM bands as well as FM. The signal-to-noise ratio is displayed on the LCD along with other relevant information. Very nice features like variable/adjustable bandwidth audio filters. Very powerful radio at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons

Nice little radio for beginners

Unlike most of the other reviewers of this product, I am new to shortwave. I budgeted $100 to get the radio and based on a bunch of reviews I bought it. I'm pretty happy with it, but those (like me) who thought you could just buy a radio and start listening to international broadcasts will be a little disappointed (note: this isn't strictly a comment on that radio). I immediately recommend buying a long antenna for it; However, that antenna doesn't help *that* much if you have an electrically…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Damaged

Great and bad, but got what I expected.

I looked at a lot of reviews so I had an idea of what I was going to get. This is my review after 15 minutes with it so I haven't had a chance to try the DXing MW or SW or use it at night or outside of my basement. GREAT: I just wasn't sure because I had never heard of it. All reviews have mentioned how good the selectivity and gum resistance is. I live less than a mile from a radio tower with two VHF radios that drown out most of the receivers on my property on every VHF band and even some UHF

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great radio for its size!

I have been a SWL (shortwave listener) since the 70's and have owned most Grundig, Eton, Sangean and Sony radios. This is the best "small" laptop I've ever had! It's nice to have full size tuning and volume controls on a radio this size. Sound quality is good for its size, but certainly not as good as a larger radio. This radio uses a DSP chip which gives it such good performance for its size and price. I won't compare it to big laptops that cost 5x as such a comparison would be unfair. I…

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • crumpled
