Huge and cheerful, best on projection screens

If you have a bright projector and a decent speaker, this is all you need. It comes in a large and somewhat heavy box, but there's not much to store it in the garage or basement until you need it and take it to where you need it. It inflates while you're probably still fiddling with cables and other projector setup steps. This is a very large screen designed for outdoor use (where lighting control can be an issue) so you'll likely need a very powerful projector. I have an old 720p projector which is meant for bright rooms and fills it in well (general setup and scenario doesn't suffer from low resolution). The screen itself is fine. I wouldn't consider it a home theater screen, but as something to blow up and put in the garden or take with you on a hike, it's great. The value of this is disputed. Compared to going to the theater, this can of course quickly pay off. On the downside, it's essentially a $20 screen and $50 Christmas toy that sells twice as much. Competing units can be found at prices ranging from a little less to more than double. For me it's about having fun and that fits. I recommend this, but I would make sure you have a very bright projector (not just a desirable claimed lumen output) and stick to a 16-inch screen. A 20-inch screen requires a ridiculously bright projector to fill the screen properly. Most likely you don't have it.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Low repairability
