We've all heard about the gut benefits of probiotics, but your skin has a microbiome too. I figured it would make sense to look for a probiotic cleanser to help maintain healthy skin flora. Mother Dirt is a high quality brand that I have used in the past and this Mother Dirt Probiotic Toner caught my attention because of its easy applicator and high quality ingredients: Water, Damask Rose Floral Water, Glycerin, Lactobacillus Enzyme, Coconut Milk. Glucoside, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Lactobacilli, Coconut Fruit Extract, Glycolipids, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Inulin, Lactic Acid. Basically it doesn't smell. Can't say I noticed anything special about it compared to other foaming cleansers I've used before. I hope bottled probiotics retain their potency as they may not last as long as a refrigerated product. Time will tell if my skin improves with continued use, but overall I'm happy with it. Although the cost is quite high.
