No Pro Logic Decoding

The device is incorrectly advertised as decoding from analog 2-channel to 5.1-channel. It has an emblem badge, it has "Dolby Pro Logic II" but it does NOT do that kind of analog decoding. Pro Logic II takes 2-channel audio like this box's AUX input and needs to convert it to surround sound. For example, if this decoding is done for music, the center channel will contain only vocals, the front stereo will contain instruments, and the surround channel will contain audio. create a sense of space. This is a standard feature on A/V receivers and was the main reason I bought this box. This box does NOT do that kind of processing at all, despite claiming to do so. What it does is it takes a 2-channel source, keeps the content for the front left/right/center channels the same, and just REDUCES the ambient volume by a few decibels. NO SURROUND PROCESSING signal, vocals still come from surround which is confusing. In short, if you want to use this box to decode 2-channel analog audio into surround sound like Pro Logic II should do, DO NOT BUY. keeps the same content for the front left/right/center channels and simply LOWERS the surround sound volume by a few decibels.
