Would give this TV stand a 5 star rating if it was great IF building plans were included. Everything was packaged nicely and I'm one of those people who post parts for comparison with instructions (Gone are the days of assembling something 1/2 only to find I don't have the necessary part for the next step). ). We searched everything that was in the box. Nada. So after gathering almost everything we have, well I - brains, my husband - muscles, I asked my husband to give me a minute and I visualized what needs to be done and we began. Within 20 minutes we had an incredibly strong TV stand. The buttons on the front are really good and the wood isn't bad for the money I paid for it. The rear opening is split (bisected by an open shelf) so one opening can service cables from both open and closed shelves. I read a review of a person putting their TV on it and the stand collapsing and honestly if it's assembled correctly it just can't be done.
