Overall this is a solid mic for the price. If you are looking for something cheap and small, this is it. What I like: I really like its form factor. Both the transmitter and receiver are small and ideal for hiding. I also like the plug and play operation. I had no problem getting it to work on my laptop, iPhone or DSLR. What I didn't like: There was a slight noise in my connection with all devices. It wasn't taboo by any means, but be aware there is a bit of noise. The microphone cable is not disconnected from the transmitter. It's not the end of the world, but if the toilet breaks or the cable snaps, it's all over. Unless, of course, you want to tear everything apart. You can't beat $40 for a decent entry-level mic.
