Good entry-level wireless microphone

I have several wired lavalier mics, but I'm glad wireless recording is finally here. The splitter for the headphone/mic cable was a nice touch and really essential for my particular PC. Battery life seems good, but haven't tested it at low levels yet. The range is very impressive. You are out of view of your cameras before the microphone signal is lost. This is the first lavalier mic I've bought with a rotating lapel clip which is very handy. Those solid metal clips never seem to be at the…

Good entry-level mic

Overall this is a solid mic for the price. If you are looking for something cheap and small, this is it. What I like: I really like its form factor. Both the transmitter and receiver are small and ideal for hiding. I also like the plug and play operation. I had no problem getting it to work on my laptop, iPhone or DSLR. What I didn't like: There was a slight noise in my connection with all devices. It wasn't taboo by any means, but be aware there is a bit of noise. The microphone cable is not…

Easy to set up and use!

I bought this kit about 2 months ago to make YouTube videos. I was using a microphone with a very long cable and wanted more freedom of movement and some distance between me and the camera. I love that this device is rechargeable and as I finally write this review I have yet to charge it even though I made a couple of videos averaging around 3 minutes. The thing about rechargeable batteries, though, is that they die suddenly when they run out, so I won't wait too long to recharge them! The…

We look forward to starting work.

I'm going on a trip soon and plan to make videos while I'm away. So a decent lavender wireless microphone would be a great thing to enhance the results. I didn't want to spend hundreds on a famous brand. I'm willing to sacrifice some sound quality for my own needs to save a lot of money. There are some I wouldn't trust. It seems to have the potential to be a worthy choice for the cheap end. But not as cheap as some others. I took this and tested it. It charged fully, connected quickly and…

Still not sure. It seems ok but I don't know if I can rely on it.

I did some tests in my office before using it and I heard a hiss. As soon as I moved to another room, away from the computer, the noise went away and the sound quality wasn't bad at all. Then I really used it and at a critical moment the battery in the microphone/transmitter ran out. He didn't last more than a minute. And I was sure that I had charged both of them a few days ago. I'm not sure what the deal was as now everything seems to remain as it should be. I think the real problem is that…
