Since I don't have kids and can spend a lot of time learning about unimportant things, I decided to figure out how to properly polish these laminate floors. Several friends told me to get a steam cleaner. These monsters didn't realize that water would irreparably warp my floors the way Nickleback warps a young, impressionable music listener. I ended up buying the Black Diamond Floor Cleaner hoping it would give my floors that extra something. But that didn't happen. Are these floors as dull as a dull knife? I decided to try the Rejuvinate floor renewal kit. I ordered the box set and it arrived the day before a pretty big snow storm was going to hit New England. So I decided to spend my snowy day doing two things: banging on Hansett hammers and making those floors fabulous. Mission accomplished. made my bottoms shine like a bald man's butt. or head, whatever. Of course I had to apply 3 coats to very dull areas but I'm ok with that, one pass is enough for most floors and they all ended up looking spectacular. Actually two drunken thumbs up. A good thing!
