It was a beautiful duvet. The keyword here is "was". Here's a plus: This blanket matched my color and modern/casual decor perfectly. Now for the cons: this comfortable jogger gets uncomfortably hot. That's saying a lot considering I'm the type of person who's always cold. During the night I had to take off my blanket several times. However, I was willing to put up with this inconvenience as I really liked the look of this blanket. I have read the fabric care instructions. I knew it couldn't be tumble dried unless it was set on tumble dry/low heat. I air dried the comforter the first time I washed it and had no problems. Then, three months after I bought the blanket, it was too cold outside to air dry. I forgot to set the dryer to "Tumbler Dry/Low" and set the dryer to "Big/Linen" instead. The blanket has melted to a crisp and is now unusable. I'm thankful it didn't ruin my dryer, but I'm disappointed the material didn't get stretchier in the dryer. I've used this bulky bedding dryer for all the other comforters and quilts in my house and have never had a problem. This is the first blanket that literally melted. I only recommend buying this duvet if you are sure you will never throw it in the dryer.
