For such a price I would have wished for more functionality. Need a longer hose. When carried in a backpack or on the back of a camel, the tube barely reaches over the shoulder to the face. The hose is quite stiff and can detach and splatter water if you pull too hard or get caught on the edge of the pack. The filter seems to work as it should (this weekend I drank 8 liters of mountain lake water through it and didn't get sick). I love the open end for filling and sealing. I expected it to flow from above, but it didn't. The top locking clamp worked great.
