I love these cases have used 4 of them on various projects and they just work great and are very affordable. I like the transparent lid, the latches work great and they seem to seal perfectly. None of my projects are exposed to direct sunlight or direct rain, so I can't speak to their performance in harsher conditions. They come with a plastic backing plate with square holes. back it keep about 1/4 of your desktop if you set things up on it. Some #8 x 3/8" pan head screws are ideal for attaching a DIN rail, and these ribs prevent you from attaching it to your desk in the process. Very good panel to work with, highly recommended, as I mentioned I've bought more of these before.
