My little giant pump no longer works after so many years. But before I replaced the new one, the monsoons hit and the rain filled my pond 2-1/2 feet deep. I usually get my vacuum cleaner out and use it, but you have to keep emptying the bucket, it's hard on your back. I knew there had to be a better way. I read the reviews about this little pump and decided to give it a try. He arrived immediately. I have an outlet right next to the fountain. Attached a small hose, plugged it in, threw it in the well, turned on the switch on my well and 45 minutes later the water was gone. I see reviews saying it only worked a couple of times. So far I'm happy with one. If I need to order another one I will.
