I bought this without realizing that my lamp base wrong is. . I have no thread and no ring on the clamp. However, I wanted it to work because otherwise it was the perfect size. I used a glue gun to keep it from wobbling. Now he is completely strong. And the glue is removable in case I want to take it off and use the lamp as a traditional lampshade in the future.

- Please make sure your lamp base is E26 with ring ring (as in the pictures) specifically for E26 lamp holder converter harp
