Two weeks, so far, so good! The specifications match the product description and it even arrived earlier than expected. The Computer Update King (CUK) updates standard hardware, so yes, the laptop has been taken out of the box. However, everything was assembled so perfectly that I couldn't even tell that the seal on the box was broken. There are stickers/paper notes scattered all over the box explaining that they have upgraded the hardware. **Week Seven Update** is still running like a champ! I often have a virtual machine consuming four cores and 24GB of RAM, a running Google Pixel 3 emulator, a hundred or two open tabs in Chrome and Firefox, and the laptop just cranking the fan up a bit. No problem! So far I have few complaints, but these are not serious problems. First, the speakers are pretty tinny (but I usually use headphones anyway, so that's not a problem for me). Second, the rubber pads on the bottom aren't very grippy, so the laptop slips a bit when I place it on concrete surfaces. Third, the trackpad is pretty finicky and some programs have this stupid gesture hotkey that changes profiles or something and it has an annoying popup telling you that. It's just annoying because I often accidentally make that damn gesture just trying to scroll! Fourth, the number pad keys are pretty narrow, and I sometimes catch myself entering the wrong numbers. Fifth and last, I'm still not thrilled with the gravity of the case. I doubt I'll actually break it, but I'm still paranoid about picking it up and moving it around. With my fancy XPS 15, I don't hesitate to grab the corner with one hand and rock it sideways as I walk, or open the screen with a corner. With this MSI, I always grab it by the back corner along the pads or with one hand on each side. The screen opening is merely a top-mid lift, as it flexes too much for the convenience of an open corner. All in all, I'm still glad I bought it. I definitely love the updates the Computer Upgrade King has made!
