Bought this HDMI KVM for a video surveillance system. My application spans 100 feet on CAT5e. Prior to this topic, I tried several other extenders without success. I bought this article because of their claim that the signal is lossless and zero latency for both video and USB keyboard and mouse connections. The product really does what it promises. Great visuals and mouse/keyboard responsiveness. When I first installed the extension cable, I turned it on before connecting the mouse and keyboard. The mouse didn't work initially, but as soon as I unplugged it and plugged it back in while the mouse and keyboard were plugged into the extension cord, everything worked like clockwork. Therefore, be sure to connect all components to the power strip before turning them on. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it as a quality HDMI KVM Extender.
