Metal is more durable than plastic models.
This is very solid value for money. They were a few dollars more expensive than similar all-plastic models. It's worth it. They are metal and will hold in place all of the hand tools that most people will be using. I wanted something to hang high so I could attach it to the wooden rafter without having to drill into the garage's brick wall. I can't reach the hooks, but I have no problem getting the tool's handle back into the hook by simply pushing it up and sliding it in. It was a great affordable solution for organizing. Very happy.
