I told myself I'm not the type of person who lets children's toys and a playmat take over their house. Fast forward 6 months and my mid-century modern/minimalist style didn't offer a good place for a child to stretch their legs. I bought this to put in our living room for tummy time. It has some great features: it's small, light and folds very well. That means I can remove it when people come to us. I love the pattern too. We have a nautical nursery and our playmat has a very nice nautical theme. It's also double sided which is nice and means you can change it up! The surface is also very easy to clean and wipe down which is very important as Mr. Ultimately this gives my little one plenty of space to move about safely. The main disadvantage is that the mat is made of foam. Ultimately, I don't think it's sustainable/biodegradable. Because of the material, our cats scratch and break off small pieces. It could be a choking hazard and I'm keeping a close eye on it. I would recommend buying it, but would pay more for a more eco-friendly option.
