I have 3 of these monitors due to the incredible price and picture they offer (waiting for my triple mount). 1080p resolution doesn't matter for gaming as 1440p is the highest you'll ever want, but for that you need a powerful PC. I recommend using the game's display settings as they offer the best color and brightness settings on these monitors. 144Hz and IPS at 1080p is all you need because these monitors are the complete package! NOTE. First of all, your settings on the monitor are usually not saved. This is because the monitor installs an application called OMEN Gaming Hub on your computer that allows you to change monitor settings. Just change the settings there, not via the buttons under the monitor. Thus, the settings you want to save are correct.
