As someone who spent many happy hours playing with this type of airplane when I was young I wanted to share it with my grandchildren. These things are garbage; plain and simple rubbish.

I loved seeing my 2 year old enjoy playing with gliders. I didn't like that the package was damaged upon arrival and half of the planes were unusable. I'm just glad I ordered four gliders and was able to fly two of them.

Balsa gliders are fun to build and fly. They are usually good for hours and sometimes days depending on how aggressively they fly. A great gift for young children and they are so light that they won't hurt other children or things around the house.

My 2 year old grandson loves airplanes. I bought dozens of these in my early teens. My assessment of durability and strength should not be misunderstood. These are very light aircraft made from thin balsa wood. Of course they are not long-lived. But they're damn fun for the young people who love airplanes.

It took me back to my childhood. One of the rare old products that has not deteriorated in quality. I bought two sets for each pair of grandchildren and they love it. So far I've only given them gliders. When they are old enough to wind a rubber motor I will add clockwork. They also look well built. High demand.

These planes are awesome. Takes me straight to my youth. I've flown the same rubber band plane over 15 times with no problem. It even got stuck on the roof and had to be knocked over with a landing net. It still crashes every time! The rest of the planes didn't even need to be assembled, the first one flies perfectly. I slammed the ailerons into the wings and can fly about 8 seconds.

These planes are nostalgic but not great. We flew planes for about an hour as the rubber bands were flimsy and broke during the second and third flights. Planes are naturally openwork as they are made of soft and lightweight cork wood. They fly pretty well for the first few flights and then all the way downhill once the rubber band breaks. They should provide a much stronger group. We will buy more, but not before buying strong rubber bands that don't break easily. Nostalgia always gets 3…
