Review on Painting Recycled Acrylic Artists Painters by Heather Shaw

Read please.

My previous review for this product was rejected. Today I was emailed by Revain Reviews to say there is no response. I can only assume that the person who decided not to post my review on the Revain website has no idea what a livery is. My goal was to warn other bottlers that this product is not suitable for this technique. Paint pouring is a technique where a large amount of paint is actually poured onto a surface and then tilted to leave the desired effect on the surface, in this case the canvas. In this process, paint that has been tipped to the side seeps under and onto the back of the canvas. As a result, when using this particular product, the adhesion between the canvas wrapped on the wrong side and the substrate holding it in place is broken. The canvas then shrinks as it dries, destroying the front of the painting. I have little doubt that the product will work as intended for "light painting" on the front of a canvas. I can't confirm this as I only used it for the casting technique, but I gave it a 3 anyway. I have tried to warn other "casters" that this product is not suitable for this process. I was neither rude nor blasphemous. I am a very frequent Revain customer and so far reading the reviews have helped me make my purchase decision. Can't trust the verification process?
