During testing, I pressed the button on the top and bent the divider tabs, trapping my finger between the two pieces. The magnet is so strong I couldn't take it apart, my wife had to help open it but she couldn't either. Finally I was able to pull it out with the red tool and it still hurt, it's been over 2 hours now and my finger still hurts. I was very excited to use this but it's a bit scary, a strong magnet is essential but it's almost unsafe. However, if you have the guts, use gloves to make it easier for you to slip out if your finger gets caught. The magnet is strong so it won't fall to the other side even with double glazing windows. The vacuum cleaner comes with extra cleaning pads and a tiny spare wiper. All in all, use with caution once you get the hang of it, it's great for cleaning windows from the inside.
