Review on AmazonBasics DS1764 Broom Dustpan Set by Jeanette Khammanivong

I liked the nest idea, but this broom is very light and you can't get much leverage other than a little dust or ash... not at all for a thorough cleaning. The hollow aluminum bar is too light and the nested set is poorly balanced, making it very easy to topple over when trying to nest or simply putting it in a corner. It's also not a broom for tall people (I'm only 5ft 4", which is good enough for me, but a taller person might get frustrated. Also, the sweeping fibers are very short, about 3" long, and not very stiff, making it difficult to pick up a sizeable pile of dirt before you need to clean the dustpan.I would only recommend it to children who are learning to responsibly sweep up small spills like dry grain.Libman.
