These jewelry card holders tarnish terribly on any jewelry except gold and have ruined many pairs of earrings which I can't tarnish in any way and can't sell. Even my stainless steel earrings tarnished within a few days if not sooner. My silver earrings literally turned black in this paper. I accidentally left a silver earring on the black paper overnight and it literally tarnished overnight! I'm afraid what chemicals in this paper can attack the metal so quickly. This junk has ruined so many pairs of earrings. Never again!
