Review on LEXIVON Inch Pound Torque Wrench LX-181: Precise 1/4-Inch Drive, 20~200 in-lb/2.26~22.6 Nm - Powerful and Reliable by Shane Palma

Works great ratchet when set up like it should.

If you are buying this for a bike the Nm scale is printed on the underside of the turning handle. Simply remove the retaining ring, turn the handle upside down and put the retaining ring back on. It works exactly as it's supposed to. Just gently pull the handle and it will loosen at the installation point, preventing you from over-tightening the screw. I saw no need for a $100 Park Tool torque wrench when I only had to use a wrench once in a blue moon. But I have a carbon fiber bike and it is very important not to over tighten the carbon fiber bolts. So I took a chance and it's a very solid build. Yes, the tuning cords are only painted on, but I happened to scrape off some of the clear coat layer when I removed the locking ring and the protective clear coat was thick enough to protect the tuning cords for years to come. It would take a lot of abuse to remove enough lines to make them unreadable.
