These glasses were perfect for my application. I put 11 of these on dimmer switches in my kitchen/dining room. Luckily I only needed 11 since the number 12 was egg shaped and not round. I don't know if it left the factory like this or if it was damaged in transit. I might try shrinking it back into a circle if I ever need it for another project, but for now it's just leftovers. I didn't use the Sunco LED finish they recommend for these cans (I used Shine Hai) as there have been some bad reviews about it, particularly the springs and how they now attach to plastic tabs instead of metal. However, the connectors for the two brands are not compatible. I just went to my local hardware store and bought a couple packs of 2-pin connectors for about $10 to replace the standard plugs on the cans and panel. It took about 15 minutes to cut, strip, and change over to new connections and I was ready to go.
