I wanted to wear them with sweaters and fancy sweatshirts with a larger or looser neckline. They are so thin and fragile they almost look like silky linen. They don't stay in place and don't warm your neck in the winter wind. I was looking for something more like the knitted turtleneck worn with ski suits without the extra layers on the arms and torso. They didn't meet my needs at all but weren't worth the effort to come back. I sent them voluntarily.
