Lubricate the O-ring before first use!
This filter has the shape of a tank. The case is very thick and appears to be well made. The o-ring was not pre-lubricated and leaked on first use and had to be sealed, canister removed and silicone grease applied. After that worked like a charm. The only issue is that the threads for the 3/4" inlet and outlet seemed a bit loose. It took a lot of teflon tape (much more than I usually use) and it still seemed like it was leaking. t, and got a leak-free installation.
