Review on LoraTap Smart Wireless Fixtures Warranty Switches by Steven Ferguson

I bought this to control the light on my dock which I always forget to turn on when we go on an evening cruise. It's quite dark at this time of year when we return and the dark dock is definitely not a safe dock. However, I have an on/off controller for the boat and a separate one around the house and they both work great. As for the distance. 220 meters is what they announce. I was walking down the street with my wife on the phone watching the light on me. I walked about 150 meters before everything stopped working even though the signal should have gone through my house. Can't wait to try this out on an open lake with my range finder to see how well it works without hindrance. Update: I took my golf range finder out on a boat last night to see how well it performed in open water. 285 yards (260 meters) is the limit. 40m more than the advertised 220m and far enough to turn on the dock lights as soon as we enter the lagoon. Needless to say, I'm impressed.
